Endless Shoes!

I remember when Endless.com first came out... I was so much more shoe-crazy at the time, and hubby used to complain that they named themselves well because he kept seeing endless boxes from them!  My shoe-lust has since somewhat subsided, but how could I resist when Bing is offering 40% cash back on everything in the store prior to closing down the program at the end of July.  Even hubby ordered himself 3 new pairs of shoes, which is unheard of!  And look what we found on our doorstep just a day later:

Darn you instant gratification!  Of course then Bing decided to cancel my cashback afterwards because apparently I had "acquired the goods for resale or other business purposes."  I'm trying to reason with them now that I'm REALLY not a shoe retailer... just a girl who likes to order lots of things to try!  Especially when there's free return shipping!

Anyway,  I honestly didn't even get that many shoes, just many styles of the same type of shoe.  I've been wanting a pair of those T-strap sandals that sorta look like slightly fancier flip-flops because, well, I wanted a more fancy alternative to my usual flip-flops!  Most of the ones I ordered didn't work out, but these are my top 3 contenders, in order of increasing fanciness:

#1: Clarks Salon Bliss in Cork, size 5 ($14):

These have the best fit and feel amazing on.  They're sooo comfortable as if I'm not even wearing shoes, but with padded insoles so I don't feel the every crack in the ground I'm walking on.

The pics don't really do them justice, they look a lot better in natural lighting since the strap color is almost nude and doesn't visually break up the foot.  And again, they feel soo comfortable... and I'm really glad I rounded down to size 5 instead of 6 because they fit perfectly.  I'm a sucker for affordable comfortable shoes, so I'm definitely keeping this pair!

#2Carlos Santana Boardwalk in Camel, size 5.5 ($16):

Who knew Carlos Santana makes shoes?  I certainly didn't!  As you can probably tell by now, I was looking for a neutral-colored pair.  I did order a few in fun bright colors but they either didn't fit or were really uncomfortable, so I didn't bother taking pics of those.

I think these photograph the best, but the fit was the worst out of the three.  The smallest size they have is 5.5 which is still slightly too big, and the shoes flop around a bit on my feet.  The material is also very stiff and feels cheap, and the straps are flimsy and feel like they could break pretty easily.  I'm probably going to return this pair.

#3: Tommy Hilfiger Amelia in Bronze, size 5.5 ($18-21):

I didn't really think I'd like these, but when I put them on I kinda do!  The embellishment at the top gives them that extra little something, and they make me feel a little fancier when I wear them.

Again, pics probably don't do them justice.  Although they're not as super comfortable as the first Clarks pair, the fit is pretty good and they feel secure on.  The material and construction also feels solid.  They come in a bunch of other colors and since the bronze is so similar to the first pair that I'm keeping, I'm thinking about getting this one in either white or black for variety:

Now if Bing would just give me back my cashback... I'd hate to see them to go out with a bad taste since I'd always been a fan of the program (especially of their long-standing 25% cashback from BR/Gap/ON/Piperlime!).

  1. OMG the price you got on all of them is amazing!! And I agree - the starfish ones are super cute and I like those the most!

I'm still LOLing at the "resale" bit :p

  2. My fave is #2 because of the sparkly starfish and it's so simple. Looks like it would go with everything. It's a shamed that its uncomfy.

My 2nd fave is #3. If you already have black sandals, I'd definitely get the white ones.

  3. Lol omygoshhh...when I saw those boxes I suddenlyunderstood why Endless thought you were a re-saler! I like the starfish ones the best, but if they aren't comfy...then darn, guess they can't be kept! THey remind me a lot of my Miss Trish for Capri seahorse sandals from Target, which were rather uncomfortable at first, but I broke them in and now wear them almost daily.

Although the 3rd pair is similar to the one you're keeping in color, it is way more dressy and I wouldn't even think to compare them. You should keep one of the colors!

  4. Thanks for the tip on the Clark sandals! I think I might snag a pair in size 5 for myself if they ever come back in stock again. I ordered from Endless last Saturday for the first time and saw that they are no longer listed as a Bing cashback store. When I recently ordered from BR, I also noticed that Bing cashback was now 4% instead of the 25% I was once able to avail. Bummer that Bing is closing after July!

  5. I knew the starfish one photographs the best... I'm always tempted to keep them until I actually put them on... but maybe I'll give them a chance and see if they get more comfortable after breaking in.

Anon - Bing is still giving 40% cash back for Endless, just search for "endless cashback" on bing.com and you'll see a link to get it right on top of the page in the shaded sponsored sites section.

  6. The Bing cashback deal had me wanting to order a bunch of shoes soooo badly!! The stacked boxes are SO funny. I would die of excitement if I came home to all of them. :)

Agreeing with everyone else that the starfish ones are the prettiest. I have small feet too and feel like thicker straps are too overwhelming to pull off!

  7. Thank you for posting these...I've been trying to wean myself off of rainbows for awhile now. I actually like the Clark sandals the best, it might can be a good contender for that transition into the fall season.

  8. I hope Bing will do it for you! I love the sandals with the starfish, so cute. Girl, your porch looked absolutely crazy that day! LOL!

  9. Wowie!! This is like Christmas! I remember one time, I came home to find 3 huge Adidas boxes stacked ontop of one another, 2 more boxes, and then another package (in an envelope.) It was taller than me!

Is the offer still available? And where can I find the offer because I'd LOVE to order!!

  10. kali - If you haven't joined Bing already you have to go make an account (make sure you get the confirmation email and clink on the link to activate ur account).

Then go to bing.com and search for "endless cashback". On the result page at the top you'll see a "sponsored sites" section shaded in blue, and there it should say 40% cashback (screenshot). Click on the "Bing Cashback" link next to the yellow coin and you'll be taken to Endless.com and when you add something to the cart that it should say that you'll get 40% cashback!

Hope that helps! Although Bing will close their cashback program in 5 days so I'd say browse first to see if there's anything you want before going through the trouble to sign up for an account (unless you have one already!)

  13. I can't believe they canceled your cash back. Those shoes are so cute. My fav. is also starfish ones. Very simple but cute. They matches your skin tone pretty well

  14. I love Clarks - I am a shoe snob in a way - I refuse to wear anything that is not comfortable, and Clarks is one of my favorite companies (in addition to Dansko).

I might have to check these out, as my typical summer shoes are soccer sandals from Diadora (comfy but not very stylish).

  15. That is the most awesome stack of boxes I've ever seen! LOL

  16. I'm sorry that hear that Bing is giving you trouble about getting the cash back.

The first picture is so funny. Some days, I've 3 or 4 orders laying outside the door, or 4-5 different deliveries within a week. My husband thinks the ups guy/gal must know our address pretty well heh.

  17. I've been going crazy ordering shoes from Endless too! Gotta love the 40% :)

This morning, I ordered 3 pairs of flats that qualified for the $20 off $100 promotion, but my Bing cashback didn't go through. It just disappeared when I reached the final confirmation! I couldn't even cancel my order even though I placed it minutes earlier. Weird...

  18. love.blue - That happened to me one time... but I was able to immediately cancel the order. I then re-clicked the Bing cashback link to be redirected to Endless again and it worked the 2nd time. Now I always check to make sure that it says on the final checkout page what the exact amount of cashback is. I hope Bing will give you your cashback if you contact them! If not, you should just re-order because if you refuse the first delivery you'll get a full refund (and don't even have to go through the return process).

  19. I love the first ones! In my book, comfy >>> all else :) And even more, I love your stack of boxes!!

I don't know if I told you, but I LOVE the boots I got, like the wedges and HATE the flats!

  21. Hey girl, I have one more question. Do you need an Amazon Payments account for the cashback rewards or can I just stick to my PayPal account?

I listed my PayPal account as the place for my rewards to be sent but I keep reading everywhere that I need an Amazon Payments account? I made one and then they charged me $1 on my PayPal! Now I'm worried that I'll be charged more and I don't even know what I'm being charged for.

I'm just worried now because I don't want to be charged. If you can answer any of this, that would be so helpful!

    Thanks. =)

  22. kali - Oh oops I forgot to mention, for Endless you do need Amazon Payments. It wasn't a big deal for me because I already have an Amazon account and buy things from there all the time so I can easily use the credit. About the $1 charge, I don't remember if they charged me, but was it to verify your bank account or whatnot? Sometimes services do this where they send or charge a small amount and then ask you how much it was (and reverse it afterward) to make sure it's your bank account or credit card. Sorry I can't help you more but it's been a while since I set mine up so I don't remember exactly. I doubt they would charge you for no reason though, and if so you can always dispute it.

  23. OMG- how fun is that getting all those boxes? Heheheh....That is hilarious!!!!

I like the starfish ones too! I can see it going with a lot of outfits!!! I'm not a big flats kind of girl..but I'd def keep those!!!

  24. Thanks for answering all my questions. =P I hope they don't charge me more but I'll keep an eye on it. I was wondering if you only need the Amazon Payments account for the cashback.. when I looked at the "cashback methods", PayPal, a check, and I believe a deposit to your bank were also listed. Do you need Amazon Payments for something else too? Sorry for bombarding you with questions! I've emailed but haven't gotten news back for 2 days. Thanks. =)

  25. I was going to refuse the delivery, but my dad happened to be at the door right when UPS delivered! Needless to say, I'm sending them back. Now I'm off to order more shoes before cashback ends :)

Btw, the starfish sandals are adorable. I've been trying to order sandals & flats but my small wide feet (5.5 wide) don't seem to fit in anything.

    ReplyDelete
  26. kali - As far as I know, Amazon Payments is only used for Endless cashback. With all the other cashback I got from Bing, I either requested a check or had it deposited straight to my bank account. I hope you got some good shoes out of all the trouble! :)

    ReplyDelete
  27. love.blue - You can still "refuse" delivery even after you accept it! As long as it's unopened I've given an Amazon box back to my UPS guy days after getting it and gotten a refund with no problem (he just leaves boxes for me anyway, so it's kind of hard to catch him!)

  28. Wow It is an amazing blog. I like those brown sandals very much. I have a doubt, how to buy these sandals from your site?
