I swear my closet is starting to resemble the racks of the petite section of LOFT, because it seems to be the only place I'm buying from these days! The latest addition is the Pleated Fan Front Stone Mosaic in XXSP:
I was actually surprised by how much I like this top. Neckline and armholes are perfect, and the fit is a relaxed blousson style. I think black and white prints tend to be more versatile and can go with almost everything. The price wasn't too bad either since I got it during the BOGO sale with an extra coupon.
I'd also ordered the V-neck Long Cardigan in XXSP in several different colors to decide (since my local store didn't carry this sweater). Here's the Vintage Blue and Feather Green:
Skirt: A&F skirt in XS from this post
I also got it in the Oak Brown Melange and Wild Berry, and I have no idea which one(s) I'm going to keep yet. Any opinions on which colors you love or hate? :)
This cardigan is actually on sale right now for $25, and those with a savings card from their recent promotion can score two for ~$18 each after tax + shipping! Otherwise free shipping is on again for $125+ and they're also offering an extra 25% off sale items.
Wow, the cardigans are a deal worthy of looking :) I really like both colors. I can't seem to choose which one is more likable :p The mosaic top is really cute on you :) The fit is perfect :)
ReplyDeleteI'm on the hunt for that style cardigan right now! I like the length and fit, but I'm holding out for camel color and slightly sheer fabric :) Wait.. who am I kidding, being that specific I will NEVER find what I want! lol. All the items you got fit you well! Glad to hear you're finding stuff that fits. Do the workers at Loft recognize you now? :p
ReplyDeleteI LOVE those cardigans! I am heading off to the Loft website right after I post this :)
ReplyDeleteI like the Oak Brown color, but they're both pretty great... I'd keep both!
I am a big fan of this cardigan, how many do you plan to keep? The brown is the one that I don't really like but all the other colors are great!
ReplyDeleteThe neckline on your blouse is so adorable, I want it now! I think my favorite is the green that you styled it in. As for the cardigan colors, I won't be much help there LOL I like all of them. However, I have been seeing a lot of taupey, camel colors for the fall so maybe something that will compliment that? I don't like the navy as much as the other colors though.
ReplyDeleteOh I love those cardigans! I've been looking for a long one to layer at work.
ReplyDeleteAll the petites are loving LOFT lately! I ordered those cardigans too...didn't have a savings card but I randomly tested 25EBATES and it worked on top of that! I'm interested in seeing the green in person before giving my opinion : )
ReplyDeleteI just looked at the website, I'm a little confused about the color "vintage blue". It looks kinda purple-y on the LOFT website but it definitely looks navy in your picture. Would you say its more of a blue in real life?
ReplyDeleteI love long cardigans! I have one in every basic color and they're so versatile. you'll get a lot of use of out them! the blouse is pretty on you too :)
ReplyDeleteI have the cardigan in pink and green. Seeing the blue on you I actually came to like the blue, and just order it :). Promo code LDMSEP10C gives 30% off non sale items.
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you're finding items at LOFT that fit! =) That top looks pretty good and it's nice that the armholes aren't too big..that's always a downer when it's large.
ReplyDeleteAs for the cardigans, go with that you love. I prefer the brighter colors since the muted neutrals (greys/browns/army green) tend to wash me out.
I'm definitely getting those cardigans! I personally love oak brown...I'm very into neutrals.
ReplyDeleteI vote for keeping the Berry and Vintage Blue colors. I love that the Vintage Blue (I picked one up today too!) has a purplish hue and the Berry looked good on PAG so I'm betting it will look good on you too :)
ReplyDeleteI would pick oak brown for everyday wear. It'll go with everything and Berry to add a little pop to your outfit. Seriously, I love them all. I can never have enough cardigans. I wear them all year long whether it's summer or winter
ReplyDeleteyou have such a nice cardigan collection going :) i really like all the colour variety you have
ReplyDeletesophia - I mainly shop online (and return in stores), but I'm sure the shippers at LOFT.com recognizes my address by now!
ReplyDeleteSydney - Thanks for the code! Too bad they're not stackable :\
stylepint - I think you look great in your vibrant colors, they seem to fit you better than muted neutrals anyway :)
Erin, Em, & PetiteLG - I wasn't 100% sure about the oak brown because I don't own a lot of things in that color family. But it's a neutral and it's definitely a fall color!
Elle - I'm having a lot of trouble deciding! I may just keep them all :P
Hanna - I've tweeted to you already, but for anyone else who's curious, the vintage blue is a vibrant blue-purple, not navy at all!
I didn't know how to MSG you on twitter but I would love the code. I have never had the chance to shop there but I am eager to make my first purchase at Loft and Ann Taylor. My email is vangdiane@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI would keep them all! You can never have too many cardigans, and having them in lots of different colors means they're very versatile (and no one will know that they're all the exact same sweater). My favorite though would be the wild berry...I'm a sucker for any shade of pink or purple.
ReplyDeleteLooks great on you! I like that you paired it with the green cardigan!
ReplyDeleteI started a blog recently, and I just made a new post with this same shirt shown tucked-in. And of course, you are mentioned and linked! :)

I especially like your top. It has that modern touch to it, looks very chic. Your whole outfit is very very cute.
ReplyDeleteLove the print on that top! And the ruffle detail is beautiful. Also, this might not be what you want to hear but if I were you I would keep all colours of the cardigan. It's totally a versatile piece and the price is awesome!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day girl!
Jen
That blouse does look like a good fit - yay! I have to agree with Petite Little Girl, I really like the oak and plum colored cardis....And, thank you to Sydney for that 30% off code!
ReplyDeleteI like this top on you, especially the neckline! Thanks again for your tip on knitting:) This week, I was trying to recall which blogger posted about knitting and a book recommendation...that was you!! Thanks for refreshing my memory:) I'll definitely check out Ravelry.com. I'm glad to have found another knitter, too! Hope you'll post a project when you get the chance to knit again:)
