I've been on a couple of easy rotations recently so my schedule hasn't been too bad, but it's about to get real busy. I'm also in a specialty where I have to pass three different board exams before I can be board-certified, and the first one is coming up in September. So I foresee a lot of work and stressful times ahead in the upcoming weeks. I probably *shouldn't* spend so much time online but let's see if I can manage to stay away!
"Nothing special?" Girl, you gotta be kidding me :)
ReplyDeleteYou look great! And btw good luck on your board exams :) :)
Very cute! I also ALWAYS freeze in any air-conditioned places so I'm a huge fan of cardigans... but I don't own enough casual ones! I think I need to check out that BR one :)
ReplyDeleteI have that BR cardigan in gray and LOVE it. Cute outfit! Love the skinny belt....must find myself a nice black one :)
ReplyDeleteI love that ruffle tank on you :) Wow our dads are the same age ... hahhaa doctors always have kids late though T__T My dad's guilty as charged. Now he's just a chillin' researcher. He tells me I don't HAVE to be a doctor. Thanks dad. That's not great motivation at this point xD
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your board exam! I definitely should not be on here right now x_x .. MCAT in 2 weeks! Cramming, fighting, then relaxing!!
I remember that skirt. I ended up returning it because it's kind of short on me. I ordered it in black so nothing was special. Blue looks so much nicer. Cute outfit! Good luck with your exams. I miss school but I don't miss those exams :)

Last week to enter my giveaway for a beautiful necklace at PetiteLittleGirl.com
It's so bad when the temperature changes from smoldering hot (outside) to freezing (AC)! Sometimes I forget to bring cardigans to work and end up shivering til my lips turn blue.
ReplyDeleteThis is a casual but very cute look. The belt adds a nice touch...I don't remember when you got that. Did you have to punch extra holes or it fit right off the rack?
I love that top I have a thing for ruffles at the moment!
ReplyDeleteI hate when AC is blasting! I always have to bring a sweater or jacket to work or I won't survive the day.
I like the way you pair that top with a cardigan - very cute. I think it will look also good with a black pencil skirt (transform to work attire).
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your exams and get plenty of rest.
nicely put together....i like how the belt tied off the outfit. i've seen that shell in store before but never thought too much about it. it looks great on you though.
ReplyDeletelove the combination!
ReplyDeletePAG - This is the belt I got years ago that I punched a hole with scissors. Unfortunately because it's a skinny belt I think I probably damaged it because it feels like it's threatening to split where my DIY hole is.
ReplyDeletecurls-and-pearls: I'm going to be so sad if the ruffles trend goes out of style because I've begun to collect so many ruffle-y items!
Love the ruffle top! It looks stylish, chic, yet comfy and easy to just throw on! I like how the ruffles don't jut out too much too ~ looks perfect on your petite frame :)
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit! It's something I can see myself wearing without feeling so out of place! Happy Birthday to your father!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sad I didn't get one of those ruffle tops in grey! I like that you went with the grey with the skirt. I always forget that grey tops are almost as versatile as white/cream tops sometimes!
ReplyDeleteI really like the skirt on you. The look is very casual yet classy at the same time.
