Now I'm sure most of you have already seen this cardigan on many other petite bloggers, so I won't go into too much detail about it. Basically the concensus was that it has a slouchy fit and rather tight sleeve cuffs. Suffice it to say it fits pretty much the same on me, but here's a fun little animation to demonstrate the 360° view:
I couldn't figure out how to make the image quality better... but hopefully you get the point!
i LOVE the gold and blue on your. These two bold colors look great and aren't as muted as the other ones. :)
ReplyDeletei LOVE the gold and blue on your. These two bold colors look great and aren't as muted as the other ones. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your 360 pic!! Good idea!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Diana...I love the blue and gold on you the best!
Btw...when is your Vegas trip?
I'll choose grey and gold. However, the blue one is pretty too. I bought it and returned. But it looks much better on you!
ReplyDeleteThe Mansfield Blue and the Gold really liven up your face but if I had to pick one to keep, I'd for for the gold! =)
ReplyDeleteI like the heather graphite and the GOLD. The GOLD is the winner! It makes you pop!
ReplyDeleteAnother vote for blue (my favourite on you) and gold :)
ReplyDeleteBlue and gold. I love color (and therefore always veto gray) and the weathered wood color just looks meh.
ReplyDeleteThe gold one got my first vote and the blue one got my second vote. The gold tone suits your skin really well. I like your little animation :)
ReplyDeleteI like all of them...but if you must return them...I think the gray would be the first to go followed by the weathered wood. I think the blue and gold are so flattering you!
ReplyDeleteI must be in the minority here but my favorite is the Weathered Wood. The Heather Graphite and Mansfield blue seem like colors Loft has surely put out before, and I'm not too sure about the Gold. On J. Crew's stock image in looked darker/deeper but seeing it on all the different petites it seems the shade is too bright for my liking. I must say though that I like how the cardigan has a very pleasing relaxed fit on you.
ReplyDeleteI also like the Weathered Wood and Gold on you! I love the 360 animation!
ReplyDeletemy fave colors are the Gold and Weathered Wood colors. although the Blue is a close runner-up. these all look great on you!
ReplyDeletecute and little
come join the Color Brigade!
I like the gold and brown ones on you. The blue & grey looks rather boring, but if I had to choose, I'd choose gold and blue as my second choice. : )
ReplyDeleteAwesome 360 view, btw! :D
xx The Little Dust Princess
These all fit well on you and what a good deal! I like the gold one you the best - it makes you glow. And then second I like the gray because it's a great neutral to have for a cardigan. I'd liven up the gray one by pairing it with either a more vibrant tank top underneath or a colorful patterned skirt.

I second R.L. Weathered wood. what a unique rustic color.
ReplyDeleteIs that a DSLR remote I see? =)
ReplyDeleteThe gold for sure. Then I'm torn between the Weathered Wood and the Mansfield Blue.
I thought I was the only one that bought too many colors..LOL
ReplyDeleteI like the blue, gold and weathered wood....I have the grey too and love it- actually wearing it today as I type this!
I love the animation :) I would keep the blue, orange, and yellow ones...they are all unique colors...I feel like you could pick up a gray one anywhere :)
ReplyDelete@Diana Lien - Thanks Diana! I loved the gold, but didn't realize the blue looked that good on me :)
ReplyDelete@Michelle - Omg I feel so terrible... we went to Vegas nearly 2 months ago! I really wanted to meet up with you but we got so lazy and just lounged around most of the time (I didn't even go outlet shopping like I'd planned!) Maybe next time?
@Mix and Match - I'm sure it was pretty on you too... Thanks for the input :)
@Stylepint, @Stephanie & @Megz - I really liked the gold too... actually paid a little more for it because I got it before it went on further sale, but can't bear to return lol
@Annapurna - I'm drawn to color too... but that's also why I don't have any gray in my closet already!
ReplyDelete@PetiteLittleGirl - Glad you liked the animation, I probably spent too much time trying to figure it out lol.
@Elle - This cardigan definitely reminded of you... well, so does anything with ruffles hehe. Did you end up keeping yours?
@R.L. - It's true that the gray and blue are more common colors, but since I only recently started to buy cardigans, I don't have any of the basics so there's a niche to fill :) I'm glad you like the fit too, I think most other petites didn't like the fit and were trying to shrink it down.
@SewPetiteGal Glad you liked my lil project! I have to admit it was kinda fun to make lol.
@PetiteXXS Don't worry about it!! Lounging is always nice! Next time sounds good! :)
ReplyDelete@kileen - Thanks for your input... especially since you're now the color specialist :)
ReplyDelete@The Little Dust Princess - Thanks! Dunno how the thought even occurred to me make it, but at least I know how to now!
@Petite Mom - I like the way you think :) I like the other colors but don't we always need neutrals in our wardrobe? Yeah, this is why I couldn't decide lol.
@AubreyOhDang! I liked the uniqueness of Weathered Wood, but it doesn't seem to be a very flattering color on me.... but I do like how it looks paired with Kelly's wool bell skirt in henna (dark red), which I also picked up at the same time.
@Alterations Needed - It sure is! Good eye :) I still haven't advanced any further than the basic auto setting though lol.
@ReallyPetite - I think you still have me beat though lol... too bad I don't have your four closets too (I wish!)
@Tara Thanks Tara :) I agree with you about the gray, but I've been sorta looking for a light gray cardigan and this one is so reasonably priced!
Blue definitely looked pretty on you too in the picutre. The reason I chose grey than blue is it could pair with more different colors.
ReplyDeleteI say grey (versatility) and mustard (vibrancy)! but agreed with others that the blue looks the best on u!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the group. Blue and gold! Jcrew is known for their colors. Get the boring colors when the go on sale at AE or the Loft or some other cheaper place.
ReplyDeleteYour 360 picture is so cute!
ReplyDeleteThey fit very well...BTW, I fell in love with your blog once I came across it recently...
ReplyDeleteI heard that J.Crew's sizes turn to be large, but I can't see it from your pictures...
It's so nice to see your lovely face again! :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'm boring, but I like the graphite and blue best. I actually don't like the gold. I would like it better if it didn't have the dark gold with brighter gold trim. Something about that just doesn't look great to me. But, hey, I'm in the minority here! :)
I didn't end up keeping mine. :( I tried wearing a long-sleeve top underneath the cardi and my arms were suffocating. This one is unfortunately too small for me. sigh. :(
ReplyDeleteWhich colors did you end up keeping, Liane? I actually think the yellow mellows out your skin, but I love that it's different. I didn't comment this earlier as I read it on my phone, but i was stoked that the GIF worked and I watched your 360 on my way to work ; )
ReplyDeleteHi Liane, I must be really busy, because somehow I missed this post of yours from Monday. And I only found out by reading your last night's post. Anyways, I don't know if you have decided yet, but here is my vote: Gold, and Blue. Next is the graphite, it actually looks very good on you. The weathered wood one is meh on you.
ReplyDeleteAHHH wow, I wish I had bought some!!! I lovee the heather graphite + gold!!! amazing.
ReplyDeleteThe gold and blue goes well against your skin tone. Which ones did you keep?
ReplyDeleteWhat a great deal you got! I love the ruffle detailing on the cardigans, these are really cute. I love the graphite and gold ones on you :)
ReplyDeleteI would have totally scooped up 4 J.Crew cardigans at that price! And I love those ruffles.
